The Relentless School Nurse: Did Moms For Liberty Just Came After School Nurses?

Content alert, this post is absolutely political and necessarily so. Moms For Liberty, the ultra-right wing group that has focused their white supremacist ideals in school districts across the country may now be coming after school nurses. In a recent social media post, they called for a ban on all health care services in schools, which by extension includes school nurses.

Here is the post, you can decide what they meant, and they may have tried to clarify their comments with some backpedaling about school nurses, but as Maya Angelou reminds us, “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.”
