Job Description:
The Registered Nurse will be working full time in the Same Day Surgery/PACU department in the Primary Children’s Hospital surgery center located inside Riverton Hospital.
We are an outpatient pediatric surgical facility that serves as a satellite facility to the main Primary Children’s Hospital Surgical Services in Salt Lake City. Primary Children’s Surgery at Riverton hosts the same specialized surgeons and anesthesiologists from the main Primary Children’s Hospital, which has 15+ operating suites.
The types of surgeries performed here include urology, ENT, general surgery, endoscopy, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, and dental. On average, our team cares for 300 children each month.

Shift Details:
- We have a shared staffing model with Primary Children’s surgical services and you will be trained to work at Primary Children’s main campus as well. Floating to Primary Children’s is a job expectation and an opportunity for you to get experience with working in a higher acuity setting.
- We are open Monday – Fridays during daytime hours. We are closed on holidays and weekends.
