f) PAN card - All appointments will be on contractual basis, for a period of 2 years. Contract will be renewed after satisfactory work performance during the contract tenure.
- As per new retention policy of the Institute, higher remuneration can be considered in a very well deserving candidate as per requirement of the Institute considering NMC, work performance status and merit, where last remuneration pay slip is required. Original proof of salary and other allowances is required to be shown before final negotiation and interview.
- In case of highly deserving candidates, higher remuneration can be negotiated by the selection committee considering merit, seniority, skills, special training or cardiac or critical care cardiac or critical care training and hard press requirement of the institute.
- Experience in Cardiac Hospital/Cardiac division of Multi‐Super Specialty Hospital / Multi‐Super Specialty Hospital /Multi-specialty hospital will be preferred.
- Selected candidates are bound by the rules (including discipline conduct rules of discipline conduct & behaviour) and regulations of the Institute as may in force & also bound by the rules and regulations amended from time to time by the institute.
- Selected candidates have to abide by the protocol / procedure / system decided by the institute from time to time.
- Your designation, place of posting, department, assignment of duties and job profile etc. is liable to change from time to time as per requirement of the institute. Selected candidates will be required to work at Satellite centres of the institute / sub centres/ OPD units/ mobile units and any other place/places on the same terms and conditions as per sole discretion of Director of the Institute.

- Place/ department / timing of working will be decided by the institute which includes shift duty/ night duty / emergency/ medical cardiac services etc. as per the need since it is an emergency related tertiary cardiac care super speciality teaching, research and academic institute. Selected candidates for all posts are required to do VVIP duty compulsory, emergency duty, Night duty, teaching, academic, research & training as per requirement of the institute. Duty hours will be decided by the Institute.
- Institute reserves all rights to make any necessary changes in criteria / rules.
- All selected candidates have to mark their attendance through biometric punching (in & out) compulsory.
- Selected candidates have to undergo training as per requirement of the institute.

Job Responsibility for the Post of UNM Ahmedabad Staff Nurse Vacancy 2025
As a Staff Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care in a variety of settings, including wards, clinics, and specialized units. Your responsibilities will include:
Patient Care:
Ward Management:
Hands over and takes over the patient and ward equipment and supply. Observe the Ward cleanliness.
Write day &night report book of all patient treatment ordered by their treating doctors. Prepare patients for operations and see that he or she is sent to operation theatre with all necessary papers and pre medication. Insist that the unit doctor prepare and sign the forms.
Maintain case paper, investigation reports etc.in the proper file or board, see that all reports get attached to the case paper temperature chart i/o chart maintain properly. Case paper should not be allowed to be handled by anyone except the doctor in charge of patients especially for medico-legal case.
Staff nurse must be known about fire exit plan of hospital especially in wards for safety of patients. Staff nurse must be aware about special medications & injections like sedatives and narcotics and keep under lock and key. Biomedical waste management and segregation must be done after completing procedures.
Maintains safety of the ward equipment. Prepare and check ward supplies. Assists Ward Supervisor/Sister in ward management and officiates in her/his absence. Assists in taking inventories. Supervises students and other junior Nursing personnel working with her/him. Maintains ward record and reports assigned to her/him by the sister in charge.
Educational Function:
Teaches and guides domestic staff. Instruct servants specially the newly appointed ones in the correct way of handling bed-pans urinals, sputum cups, kidney trays, soiled dressings, bandages, binders and Iinen.
Helps in the orientation of new staff and Orient newly posted students. Participates in staff education programme. Guides and Instruct the student Nurses in their work. Carry out health teaching for individual or group of patients.
Demonstrate bed side nursing procedures, the methods of disinfections and cleaning. Teach servants and nursing students about bio medical waste management and segregation
Record keeping:
Maintaining accurate patient records, noting progress, changes, and any concerns for review by medical teams.
