Eligibility Criteria for the Post of NHM Prakasam Recruitment 2025-03 Staff Nurse Vacancy
To apply for the Staff Nurse Vacancy position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
(i) a degree of Basic B.Sc.(Nursing) obtained from an Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council; or
(ii) a diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery(GNM) obtained from an Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council / or the State Nursing Council or possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government.
(iii) Registered as a Nurse or Nurse – Midwife (RN or RN & RM) from State Nursing Council at the time of appointment;
Age Limit for the Post of Staff Nurse Vacancy 2025
The maximum age limit for applying for the posts mentioned above on is as per advertisement- 42 Years as of the last date of receipt of application. A candidate shall have attained the minimum age and shall not have attained the maximum age prescribed in the relevant recruitment rules on the date as specified in the advertisement.
Upper age limit is 42 years. Age will be reckoned as on 01.07.2024 as per G.O.Ms.No.105 GA (Ser-A) dept., dated.27.09.2021 with relaxations as applicable. Relaxations will be as follows:-
a. For SC, ST, BC and EWS candidates: 05 (Five) years.
b. For Ex-service Men: 03 (Three) years in addition to the length of service in armed forces.
c. For differently abled persons: 10 (Ten) years.
d. Maximum age limit is 52 years with all relaxations put together.

Required Documents for the Post of Staff Nurse Recruitment 2025
The list of self-attested documents photo copies to be attached along with the filled application form:
a. SSC or its equivalent (for date of birth).
b. Pass certificates of qualifications prescribed for the posts concerned.
c. Proof of appearance for the qualifying examination where ever applicable.
d. Marks memos of all years of qualifying examination or its equivalent. In the absence of marks memos, marks will be calculated as per rules in force.
e. Valid certificate of registration in A.P. Para Medical Board/ Allied Health Care sciences / any other council constituted under the relevant rules for specific courses where ever applicable.
f. Study Certificates from class IV to X from the school where the candidate studied. In case of private study local candidature certificate for that particular 7 years period preceding to the year of passing X class from competent authority in Form Appendix I certificate of residence prescribed vide Sub clause (ii) of clause (a) of para 7 of the Presidential Order
(proforma is herewith enclosed). Candidates migrated from Telangana shall submit certificate of Local candidature as per GO No 132 & 133 dt: 13.06.2017. In the absence of the suitable certificate, the candidate will be considered as non-local and further action will be as per rules in force.
g. Copy of latest valid caste certificate. In case of non-submission of valid caste certificate, the candidate will be considered as OC.
h. Latest EWS (Economically weaker sections) certificate for the valid year 2023- 24 issued by the competent authority in case of the EWS categories.
i. Certificate of disability issued in SADAREM.
j. Service certificate together with appointment orders from the controlling officer concerned (DM&HO/DCHS/ Principals of GMCs / Superintendent of GGH / Any competent Govt., authority who appointed the applicant) for claiming weightage for Contract/outsourcing/honorary service, in the absence of which the candidate will not be given service weightage (proforma is herewith enclosed).
k. Any other certificates as relevant and applicable.
Selection Process for the Post of Staff Nurse Vacancy 2025

b. 75% will be allocated for aggregate of marks obtained in all the years in qualifying examination or any other equivalent qualification.
c. Up to 10 marks @ 1.0 mark per completed year after acquiring requisite Qualification as mentioned in the pass certificate. Weightage will be reckoned up date of notification as per Govt. Memo no.4274/D1/2013, HM&FW (D1) Dept., dt.10.07.2014
d. Weightage up to 15% will be given to the candidates working on Contract/Outsourcing/Honorarium basis including COVID-19 service as shown below subject to their Satisfactory service certified by the competent authority, as per GO Ms No. 211, HM& FW (B2) Dept., Dt: 08.05.2021, GO Rt No.573 HM&FW (B2) dept. Dt.01.11.2021 and GO Rt No.07 HM&FW (B2) dept. Dt.06.01.2022. Govt.Memo.no. 3740784/B2/2020 of HM&FW (B2) Dept., dt.14.02.2022, Circular No.03/CHFW/2022, of CHFW, AP, dated.11.02.2022. If any individual work less than 6 months for covid, the weightage shall be 0.8 marks per completed month will be awarded.
e. Weightage to contract employment based on working area:
(i) @ 2.5 marks per six months in Tribal Area
(ii) @ 2.0 marks per six months in Rural Area
(iii) @ 1.0 marks per six months in urban areas
(iv) No weightage will be given for the services less than six months for NonCOVID service.
f. The COVID-19 weightage shall be applicable only to the persons who have rendered their services for COVID-19 on Contract/Outsourcing/ Honorarium basis and are appointed by the District Collector or any other competent
authority based on orders issued by Government from time to time and certified by the controlling officers (DMHO / DCHS/Principal of GMC/Superintendent of GGH) to that effect.
g. The Weightage considered to those candidates who possess the qualification and experience in the field where they worked and also applied for the same cadre of Posts.

Job Responsibility for the Post of Staff Nurse Vacancy 2025
As a Staff Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care in a variety of settings, including wards, clinics, and specialized units. Your responsibilities will include:
Patient Care:
Ward Management:
Hands over and takes over the patient and ward equipment and supply. Observe the Ward cleanliness.
Write day &night report book of all patient treatment ordered by their treating doctors. Prepare patients for operations and see that he or she is sent to operation theatre with all necessary papers and pre medication. Insist that the unit doctor prepare and sign the forms.
Maintain case paper, investigation reports etc.in the proper file or board, see that all reports get attached to the case paper temperature chart i/o chart maintain properly. Case paper should not be allowed to be handled by anyone except the doctor in charge of patients especially for medico-legal case.
Staff nurse must be known about fire exit plan of hospital especially in wards for safety of patients. Staff nurse must be aware about special medications & injections like sedatives and narcotics and keep under lock and key. Biomedical waste management and segregation must be done after completing procedures.
Maintains safety of the ward equipment. Prepare and check ward supplies. Assists Ward Supervisor/Sister in ward management and officiates in her/his absence. Assists in taking inventories. Supervises students and other junior Nursing personnel working with her/him. Maintains ward record and reports assigned to her/him by the sister in charge.
Educational Function:
Teaches and guides domestic staff. Instruct servants specially the newly appointed ones in the correct way of handling bed-pans urinals, sputum cups, kidney trays, soiled dressings, bandages, binders and Iinen.
Helps in the orientation of new staff and Orient newly posted students. Participates in staff education programme. Guides and Instruct the student Nurses in their work. Carry out health teaching for individual or group of patients.
Demonstrate bed side nursing procedures, the methods of disinfections and cleaning. Teach servants and nursing students about bio medical waste management and segregation
Record keeping:
Maintaining accurate patient records, noting progress, changes, and any concerns for review by medical teams.
