Terms and Conditions for the Vacant post:-

1. As per the guidelines of the project sanctioning agency.
2. If the performance of the appointee is not found satisfactory by the Principal Investigator appointment can be terminated at any time without any prior notice/compensation.
3. The number of posts may vary.
4. Successful candidates will normally be engaged on Project Human Resource Positions initially for a period of 11 months or less, depending upon the tenure of the project and functional requirements. Continuation / extension to engagement of Project Human Resource Positions will be depending up on evaluation of the performance, tenure of the project, availability of funds, functional requirements and approval from the
   competent authority.
5. The rates of the emoluments / stipend may vary according to the sanction of the funding agency of the project.
6. Cut-off age limit will be as on the last date of application.
7. Age relaxation will be as per ICMR guidelines.
8. Separate application should be submitted for each position. Allotment of project to the successful candidate will be decided by the competent authority at its discretion.
9. No TA/ DA will be paid to attend the interview / personal discussion and candidates have to arrange transport/ accommodation themselves.
10. The persons engaged on human resource project positions will normally be posted at the study site; however, they can be posted to any other sites in the interest of research work.The persons engaged on Project Human Resource Positions shall not have any claim on a regular post in ICMR or AIIMS, Gorakhpur or in any of its institutes or in any other government organizations and their project term with breaks or without breaks in any or multiple projects will not confer any right for further assignment or transfer
    to any other project or appointment / absorption/ regularization of service in funding agency or in ICMR or AIIMS, Gorakhpur.
11. AIIMS, Gorakhpur reserves the right to terminate the project human resource positions even during the agreed study period without assigning any reason.
12. Candidate must bring his/ her duly filled in application form in the prescribed format with a recent passport size colour photograph along with a detailed bio-data / CV and all relevant documents; duly self- attested; in proof of his/ her educational qualifications [all certificates and marksheets from 10th standard onwards], working experience, age caste and photo id [ Aadhar card/ Indian passport/ PAN card/ Driving Licence] etc.
13. AIIMS Gorakhpur reserves the right to cancel / modify the process at any time, at its discretion.
14. The decision of the competent authority will be final and binding.

Job Responsibility for the Post of Project Nurse Vacancy 2025

As a Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care in a variety of settings, including wards, clinics, and specialized units. Your responsibilities will include:

Patient Care:

Ward Management:

Hands over and takes over the patient and ward equipment and supply. Observe the Ward cleanliness.

Write day &night report book of all patient treatment ordered by their treating doctors. Prepare patients for operations and see that he or she is sent to operation theatre with all necessary papers and pre medication. Insist that the unit doctor prepare and sign the forms.

Maintain case paper, investigation reports etc.in the proper file or board, see that all reports get attached to the case paper temperature chart i/o chart maintain properly. Case paper should not be allowed to be handled by anyone except the doctor in charge of patients especially for medico-legal case.

Staff nurse must be known about fire exit plan of hospital especially in wards for safety of patients. Staff nurse must be aware about special medications & injections like sedatives and narcotics and keep under lock and key. Biomedical waste management and segregation must be done after completing procedures.

Maintains safety of the ward equipment. Prepare and check ward supplies. Assists Ward Supervisor/Sister in ward management and officiates in her/his absence. Assists in taking inventories. Supervises students and other junior Nursing personnel working with her/him. Maintains ward record and reports assigned to her/him by the sister in charge.

Educational Function:
