Criteria for Conducting Written Test and Shortlisting for Interview

1. Threshold for Written Test: A written test will be conducted if the number of applicants for
   a single post exceeds 30.
2. Qualifying Score Criteria: A minimum score of 40% for UR/OBC/EWS and 35% for SC/ST
   is required to qualify in the written test.
3. Shortlisting for Interview when Written Test is Conducted:
   o For each post, a maximum of 5 candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based
   on descending order of written test scores.
   o If more than 5 candidates achieve qualifying scores, the top 5 scorers will be selected.
   o In case fewer than 5 candidates achieve qualifying score, all qualifying candidates
   will be shortlisted.
4. Tie-Breaker: In the event of tied written test scores, the candidate with the earlier date of
   birth will be ranked higher.
5. Final Selection
   o It will be determined by the combined score of the written test and interview if the
   written test is conducted.
   o If the written test is not required, the selection will be based exclusively on interview
   scores.
   Scheme of Test and Interview:
   a. Written Test (if applicable):

• 50 MCQs of 2 marks each covering topics on NCD Epidemiology, Hypertension, Diabetes,
  Research Methodology, Basic Epidemiology, and General Aptitude. There will be negative
  marking i.e. for an incorrect answer 0.5 marks will be deducted.
  b. Interview:
• Questions will focus on NCD Epidemiology, Hypertension, Diabetes, Research Methodology,
  Basic Epidemiology, and Project Management.

Terms and Conditions for the Vacant post:-

1. It is candidates’ responsibility to ascertain and ensure their eligibility as per the prescribed qualification and experience. Any misinformation detected at any stage will make the candidate liable for legal action. Permission to appear in the selection process does not approve the eligibility of the candidate. Even after qualifying the selection process the candidate may be rendered disqualified at the time of document verification if he / she does not fulfil essential eligibility criteria.
2. These appointments will be made from the staff strength sanctioned to the extra-mural project and employment in this extra-mural project will not vest any right to candidate for appointment within the sanctioned staff strength of AIIMS Bhopal or ICMR or SJRI.
3. Tenure: The assignments are purely on contract basis for the period specified above. This appointment will not vest any right to claim by the candidate for regular appointment or permanent absorption in AIIMS Bhopal or ICMR or SJRI for continued contractual appointment.
4. Expiry of Contract: The contract will automatically expire on completion of period specified
   above until it is renewed with mutual consent for the decided period. The contractual appointment
   can be terminated at any time by either side by giving 30 days’ notice or salary in lieu thereof.
5. Leave: The leave entitlement of the appointee shall be governed in terms of the ICMR leave
   policy governing extramural / short term research projects as amended from time to time.
6. Accommodation: No hostel or any other accommodation will be provided by the Institute /
   Principal Investigator.
7. The candidate who is already in government service shall submit ‘No Objection Certificate”
   from the present employer at the time of walk-in-written test.
8. The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any
   candidate for selection.
9. The candidate should bring along original certificates in support of his/her age, educational/
   professional qualification, experience etc., two recent passport size colour photographs and a one
   set of self-attested photocopies of the relevant documents failing which he/she will not be
   allowed to participate in the interview or written test.
10. No travelling or other allowances will be paid to the candidate for appearing in written examination or for joining the post.
11. Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
12. Private practice of any type is prohibited.
13. He / She can be posted at any place as per the requirement of the project including rural areas / field sites.
14. He / She is expected to conform to the rules of conduct and discipline as applicable to the institute employees.
15. The decision of the competent authority regarding the selection of the candidate will be final and no representation will be entertained in this regard.
16. The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
17. In case any information given or declaration by the candidate is found to be false of if the
    candidate has wilfully suppressed any material information relevant to his appointment, he/she
    will be liable to be removed from the service and any action taken as deemed fit by the
    appointing authority.
18. Applications incomplete in any aspect will be summarily rejected.
19. The Competent Authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation and changes to this advertisement as a whole or in part without assigning any reason or giving notice.

Job Responsibility for the Post of Project Nurse Vacancy 2025

As a Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care in a variety of settings, including wards, clinics, and specialized units. Your responsibilities will include:

Patient Care:

Ward Management:

Hands over and takes over the patient and ward equipment and supply. Observe the Ward cleanliness.

Write day &night report book of all patient treatment ordered by their treating doctors. Prepare patients for operations and see that he or she is sent to operation theatre with all necessary papers and pre medication. Insist that the unit doctor prepare and sign the forms.

Maintain case paper, investigation reports etc.in the proper file or board, see that all reports get attached to the case paper temperature chart i/o chart maintain properly. Case paper should not be allowed to be handled by anyone except the doctor in charge of patients especially for medico-legal case.

Staff nurse must be known about fire exit plan of hospital especially in wards for safety of patients. Staff nurse must be aware about special medications & injections like sedatives and narcotics and keep under lock and key. Biomedical waste management and segregation must be done after completing procedures.

Maintains safety of the ward equipment. Prepare and check ward supplies. Assists Ward Supervisor/Sister in ward management and officiates in her/his absence. Assists in taking inventories. Supervises students and other junior Nursing personnel working with her/him. Maintains ward record and reports assigned to her/him by the sister in charge.

Educational Function:

Teaches and guides domestic staff. Instruct servants specially the newly appointed ones in the correct way of handling bed-pans urinals, sputum cups, kidney trays, soiled dressings, bandages, binders and Iinen.

Helps in the orientation of new staff and Orient newly posted students. Participates in staff education programme. Guides and Instruct the student Nurses in their work. Carry out health teaching for individual or group of patients.

Demonstrate bed side nursing procedures, the methods of disinfections and cleaning. Teach servants and nursing students about bio medical waste management and segregation
