Where will you study?
You will learn in an active healthcare environment, based in a medical school within on the UK’s largest major hospitals. Our state-of-the-art multidisciplinary Clinical Skills Centre will support your development from student to registered nurse. Nottingham is a vibrant to place to live and study. You will experience diverse placements in community and acute settings, with the option to undertake an elective placement.
How will you study?
We prepare you for a modern nursing career, building your knowledge, resilience and skills in a supportive environment to prepare you for practice. We use a variety of teaching methods including formal lectures, demonstrations, small-group work, project work, debates, tutorials, workshops, practical computer-assisted learning, seminar presentations, problem-based learning and simulated-skills teaching. We offer a unique opportunity for students to enter a paid internship to participate in, and learn about, the day-to-day running of the School of Health Sciences. This includes assisting in teaching, research and self-directing a student experience project.
